The concern makes me think some sort of abuse. The fact she was able to kill Franklin so easily and she treats people like she does makes me think that she has some [familiar] lack of guilt issues and she hasn't set a groundwork of rules for her behavior yet. She probably likes being friends with people worse than her because it makes her feel better about herself.
